we came out for a walk from brighton, arrived for an unplanned lunch. this building is amazing seeing full account on wikipedia, dates back to the 14th century, very cozy, real fires go. many nooks and bang to explore and find a private table. no music that suits it. really friendly staff goes away to help. really disappointed with the food I fear. overcooked chips that I suspect fried in old oil, chopped salat?! and...
