after several changes of the renter in recent years the plough was deported from our radar for a local location. I am pleased to report that it has jumped back...

Great pub, effective and honest food, perfect winter hideout with real fires, lovely lovely staff, cool space, child and dog friendly,

"This was such a special treat! A really fantastic afternoon tea with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes … plenty too! We were very looked after by the two guys who run it …. They were really accommodating too as although we had booked a table, we had forgotten to specify it was for afternoon tea. They made it especially for us which we really did appreciate! It’s a lovely little find, and well deserves great reviews. Will definitely be back! So much nicer than many big hotels that lack atmosphere and serve mediocre food … this was 5 stars!!"

"Well we’ve just had a wonderful meal at home cooked by Casa Zilli, absolutely fantastic all very fresh ingredients cooked to order.
