Potatoes looks lush but we’re stone cold. Veg again was cold. Every dinner we received was cold. I’d advised the waiter it was all cold and she advised she would let the ‘chef’ know but nothing come of it. Very very poor customer service f... View all feedback. read moreNestled in a picturesque setting, this pub has undergone a notable transformation, now offering a blend of dining and take-away options. While some patrons lamented issues with cold food and limited menus during recent visits, many praised the atmosphere and friendly staff. Diners enjoyed hearty dishes like fish and chips and tender steak, with positive remarks about portion sizes and quality. Despite minor service hiccups and accessibility concerns, the cozy ambiance and community feel make it a charming stop. With a shift from traditional pub to village shop, the establishment remains a vital local hub worth exploring.
