"The first time we test it since the new owners took over, because we used to come and enjoy the gasconne plate, just opposite the Gascon. The dishes offered are just a delight for taste buds, a soft meat like butter, a tasty jam, not to mention the choice of entries and desserts. A great bravo, to highlight local products, from 100% homemade, a warm welcome, family atmosphere, if you want to spend a pleasant moment, we recommend the eyes closed. A great bravo to the team."

"Le Barp is a village about 30 minutes from Bordeau, surrounded by a national park. The hotel is an old building which has been successfully modernised without hurting it. It is worth staying at the hotel just to eat at the restaurant. If you are not familiar with the menu we would recommend taking the Chef's recommendation. It's certainly not cheap but it is good value 10 courses of delectable food served over a couple of hours by very friendly staff whose English is generally on a par with my very basic French. From some table (including ours) you can clearly see how a French chef and one assitant make cooking for more than 50 people seem a breeze. I didn't see any Michelin hats on the sign but they ought to be there!"

"Little nice restaurant.I was in the area for my holiday detox (I am very basic tox... and I wanted to find a small dietary restaurant to feed my Corp, after reinvigorating my soul. I turned to this establishment in a friendly name on the right bank of L'Eyre. The location seemed perfect for a dinner with a view of nature that is so dear to me. Arriving at the restaurant, the friendly waiter comes to me and my companions and offers us a map of the dishes and menus (an unpublished concept that will make fury in the coming years. I decide to take a fresh and hopsed drink as well as a cold sandwich with a sweet cheese, cut potatoes, cooked onions with finesse and an assortment of light meat. The dish was a real delight, and really fascinating. The desserts are also very varied and tastefully served with very successful plate decorations. Only flat, when I returned, I wanted to revoke at this end cheesey, but the sauce (which I had asked to delete was this time present. Unfortunately because of this sauce, my detox vacations are ruined and I find myself full of new tox..."
