Buffalo Steakhouse - Hot Springs

No bad meal. Every year we get to SD, we eat here. The service is amazing and the food! You can't find that. Old fashion (possible in the best meaning), no shortcuts. Love and taste. The salad bar in most places is boring. Your salad bar is small, but omg pack some pimples and chop the chiffel! I had the flat iron and I've never seen it so thick. So good, taste and delicate. Husband has the feeling of Mignon. Get the Burgundy when you're a fan of red. The beer selection is excellent with some traditional German brews.

Wife and I had a steak dinner each; Filet for her, buffalo for me. Both steaks were ordered perfectly, came with a potato and a beautiful vegetable medal. The salad bar was a wonderful way to start the meal. it was clean and well kept with a good selection. My wife loved the soup. Had a nice selection of beer, several on tap and wine. But no mixed drinks that would have been nice. The service was fast and very friendly. I even saw the waitress a brochure for a table near us that asked about some of the local pages. Can say they are in the middle of the update. The new floor looks great, but the ceiling must be updated urgently. Should have been a lot of busier on a Saturday night when it was. Normally there would be 4*, but they earn a 5* call and when the updates are complete, they will earn a total. Thanks for a wonderful night

I spent half my life, or 19 years living and working in the area, and for some reason, today was the first time I was in this building. Despite the fact that it must be updated, and some renovation, the food was phenomenal. Salad bar was fresh, the main rib was stellar! Came with two sides, plus a salad bar, and soup trip, the whole food was fresh and all homemade. Hidden surprise, despite the unpleasant setup and the lack of promotion, this place seems when you give it a chance!

Absolutely fantastic! Hands down the best main rib we ever had. Salad bar, soup and sides are all homemade. It's a humble old building that they're renovating don't let you scare it off. You mean to serve excellent food with great service!

Best steak I've had in my life. Mine was perfectly cooked and my filet was the most tender and flavorful I've had in my life. The wait time is very long. Be ready for that. But they only have one cook who cuts and prepares then cooks the steaks as they are ordered. If you have a large group (we had 6 people) anything under medium may be a bit cold by the time it comes out but the taste is still excellent.
