"I?m from Texas and nothing can beat Texas BBQ !! To each it?s own though so don?t come at me. I wanted try it since I was in Hot Springs and McClard?s has great history behind it and a favorite amongst locals and visitors . Staff was really friendly and attentive but food was ok . The sliced beef tasted like pot roast with BBQ sauce poured on top , the beans was different tasted more like chili beans and I wasn?t a big fan of that . The ribs were ok very tough and chewy , sausage was good . I did enjoy the potato salad and the side of fries with the dry seasoning sprinkled on top it was so good . I even purchased the dry seasoning to take home which was the best part . The BBQ sauce was ok wasn?t my thing now the loaded fries I think was the best dish in my opinion but I think if the cheese was melted on top it would of been heaven."

"The miso soup, the squid salad, the sushi (I recommend the Drama Queen), the steak, the fried rice...it was all perfect. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. We kept commenting on the interesting variety of music they played while we dined, but we were in great moods to say the least. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we left completely satisfied. Our server, Roger, was very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to go back."

"The waitress was super friendly and even helped us to say something on the menu when we asked for help. the food came in time and was delicious. I had the general. the chicken was tender and the sauce had exactly the right amount of sharp pfeffer. I wish I made a photo, they had a decorative flower shading on my plate of salat and thin carrots. it was nice and I couldn't make myself eat it! the ambiente was great, the restaurant was clean and the eating was perfect! my only two complains: the place is a bit difficult to reach and out, and one of our lucky cookies has grown. in any case eat here again when I'm on hot springs!"

"My wife and I had our Anniversary dinner out there, both of us had the surf and turf; she had a Ribeye and I had Prime Rib; very excellent food. Our waiter very attentive. Nice atmosphere."

"This was our first visit back to Steinhaus since the plandemic. There was a new menu of both traditional German and other hearty entrees and expected biden-inflationary prices. We received value for dollars spent as a variety of food, drinks, and service for our party of 5 was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and the servings are generous enough for take-home food. We were not carded, as another reviewer mentioned, for alcoholic beverages. The specialty drinks were small but well made and the German beers are fantastic."

"The Vault was AMAZING!!!!! We were very fortunate to be able to get a sitting at the Chef ' 's table. Chef Andrew made sure that we were well taken care of. The food was excellent, the drinks were great, and the service and attention we received was unmatched. This is now officially my favorite restaurant in Hot Springs and could be quite possibly my favorite restaurant ever!"
