"Stopped by here for some late night ice cream! Our waitress was super friendly and the service was fast. My friend and I tried the purple cow ice cream and milkshake. Both were delicious and unique from other places! Prices were pretty cheap. Didn?t get a chance to try any of their meals but maybe if we visited Hot Springs again!"

"Exceeded expectations! My husband and I had the most excellent dinner here! We would definitely return We each had Chicken dishes, one with pasta and the other with mashed potatoes and both were divine! "What a hidden gem. We live in a lake house nearby (out of town) and the restaurants are all in town. We happened to drive by this place which is out in no where land. We decided to give it a try from reading reviews online. Wow. Simply wow. We were seated by the server, Britini, who gave us excellent service! She was extremely courteous and quick with everything. We had an order of raw oysters, shrimp and catfish and an order of gumbo. Wow. Again wow. I'm impressed with the food as well. I've done many reviews for restaurants but for a restaurant out here it's a five star and worth a trip from in town to out of town. I will be back for desert and to try out other items on the menu."

"The ambiance was fantastic, service was nicel. Reservations are required due to popularity. Restrooms have a unique setup. We are always looking for authentic German restaurants wherever we travel. Steinhaus Keller is an authentic German restaurant! Looking at the menu got us very excited for the visit. They even have the option for veal Wiener Schnitzel. Hard to find in the US. The food was authentic, but the quality did not match the price.The veal was tough. The pretzel looked Bavarian but not the right recipe. The visit was pleasant and our server was nice. Some eyes may need extra light to read the menu."

"As a native Texan, I feel very confident when I say this place is GOOD. My family is from Hot Springs, so I grew up eating here and can say that regardless of new owners or changes like that, the food and service remain top notch. It?s a perfect blend of tourists and locals, and the vibe is so friendly it makes it impossible not to be caught up in the Southern hospitality mood. My favorite item? The tamale spread. And a bit of a hack I?ve been doing since I was 5 or so order a side of slaw and a side of white bread, and make some tamale spread sandwiches. Not sure why, but it works so well."

"They have so many options including pastries, cookies, muffins and meals. I was so conflicted because they all sounded so good. Got a muffin and then a bit later I got the T.A.L.T sandwich. It looks amazing."

"Most expensive thing on the menue was a $55 ribye. I liked the side of mushrooms better than the steak. Pork belly appetizer was amazing. Good overall experience. Just disappointed in the steak."

"The miso soup, the squid salad, the sushi (I recommend the Drama Queen), the steak, the fried rice...it was all perfect. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. We kept commenting on the interesting variety of music they played while we dined, but we were in great moods to say the least. The whole experience was very enjoyable and we left completely satisfied. Our server, Roger, was very friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to go back."
