Chef Alfredo Mojica had made a few other restaurants in Houston famous for their food, so it is wonderful that he opened his own place. He produces delicious, refined, Italian cuisine. Don't miss his smoked salmon, truffled egg soufflé, spinach, and Dover sole among all the unbeatable menu offerings. Wish he'd open a second location in the Voss/San Felipe corridor!! What JoseS doesn't like about Amore:
Food was outstanding. Service was as well. The restaurant itself is very small, though nicely decorated. Value leaves some room to be desired but overall, I would return. View all feedback.
This restaurant does not live up to its claim of being traditional Italian. However, we had a great waiter.
Amore provided a delightful dining experience, with delicious food in every course. I highly recommend it!
The atmosphere is great, romantic, cozy, with delicious food and excellent customer service. The restaurant is not too big in size.
The lunch menu at Amore's is a great deal compared to other fancy restaurants.
We celebrated a dear friend's birthday at Amore and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was wonderfully creative yet unpretentious. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. This was my first time at Amore, but it will definitely be a special occasion spot that I will return to as my new favorite!
