The food was excellent! Although the service was a bit slow, it didn't bother us much. We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the patio seating. Perfect for a date night or gathering with friends. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Cane Rosso-Heights:
Server was attentive, and drinks were good. But pizza took over 35 minutes to get, due to “Uber Eats orders”. Somehow, Uber Eats orders jumped every order in our section. And when we finally got our pizza, the crust was soggy. Taste was good, just soggy. Probably won’t return, too many pizzas in Houston that were better, and not have to wait for Uber Eats orders to get filled. View all feedback.
It was somewhat disappointing. The white pizza, I think it was called the Lincoln Hawk, was good. However, the Cane Rosso pizza was not even considering the style. I would have expected a better one to carry the name of the establishment. The tiramisu was possibly the worst one we have ever eaten. It was extremely dry and bland.
Extremely rushed service. We ordered an appetizer and 10 minutes later the waitress was bring the main course. Nobody enjoys eating a cold main curse, so we stopped eating the appetizer. (Cold carbonara is the worst). After finishing the main curse waitress brought the check without even asking if we were open for dessert, added to that we had 1/2 bottle of wine left. Disappointed with service and feel rushed during dinner, seemed that the goal is to get you in and out within 30 mins (which my reservation was at 6:30 and we were done with the main course by 7pm)
Great pizza and great service. Very accommodating to the pizza choices. Crispy Brussels sprouts are amazing
I had a very delightful experience. Our server was really nice and she kept checking in to make sure we were OK just lovely food and lovely service
The food was ok. Two of us had good good and 4 hated it. The waffles would have been delicious, but they were burnt. They were out of a tin of stuff and s few items on the menu weren't even offered anymore...if you're nursing a hangover, don't count on a **** Mary...no liquor. The service was good. Price was good.
