The restaurant is conveniently located in Midtown and is a go-to spot for late-night Vietnamese cuisine in Houston. Overall, Mai's seems to be a hit among many locals, despite some occasional hiccups with service and pricing.
This place is legendary in H-Town. vietnamese egg rolls, spring rolls, fried rice, pho. it's all amazing. endes open. when they lived in houston for their whole life, they know about mais. I love this place.
There is a smell of urine here that greatly exaggerates the smell of hot eating. mainly through the second entrance in the restaurant – it made it difficult to enjoy the meal. also, I didn't like to ask for anything. chopstick, menu, serviette, that upset me. suppe had good taste but not be back.
Visit this restaurant for the first time. was not disappointed at all. that food came out quickly. there was one of the best for me. Actually, not all restaurants can make a good steam-free. our waiter was a little rude. but except that everything was amazing.
Pho and other similar dishes taste pretty good, but it is definitiw on the pricier side. parking is easy confusing, it is over the road and slightly diagonal to the restaurant. service is good and eating is quite fast. for groups of 6 or more, there is automatically 18%.
My favorite place to eat... but went for my birthday and I wont be back. Service is ridiculous. Even got charged for a Togo cup that they labeled as a new beverage. My favorite dish wasn 't available, so they gave me something similar without telling me until it was served in front of me. Ridiculous!!!
