"This was a great experience in every single way! We have been to a lot of mediocre Italian places, this is not that, the food was SO delicious! But where this place really stood out to me was the service. It has been a long time since I encountered suchwonderful service while I was dining out. Not just from our waiter, but every staff member we encountered. Everyone was sofriendly and made us feel welcomed. Thank you so much for making our experience enjoyable, we will definitely be back!"

"Very passable cajun. I love good Cajun food but the two most popular 'big chain ' Cajun restaurants have always been a disappointment. So when I heard about this local eatery in Hudson Oaks I was hopeful that it would be different. I was not disappointed. For appetizers we started with fried pickles (very good) and seafood gumbo. I 'm somewhat of a gumbo aficionado and can honestly say it was about as good as you would expect to find anywhere in N 'Awlins. Next came the meal, and WOW! We ordered a half order of the seafood platter (catfish, oysters, crawfish, gator, shrimp, and fries) and could not believe the portions. My wife and I shared the platter and still had more than enough to take home in a doggy bag. The food was standard fried fare and decent for the money. Much better than you get at the big chains. The batter was not great but still very passable. My only complaint was that the pieces (crawfish, gator, etc) were so small it was sometimes difficult to tell what you were eating."

"We had a group of 6, the Friday after Thanksgiving. They were very busy. It took awhile to get a table, but well worth the wait. Everyone in our group gave the food 5 stars. The service was great. The next we are in Weatherford will visit this place again."

"Absolutely love this place! We are here every single weekend. Just like any other breakfast place on the weekend, you will be waiting anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending on the time. We love their breakfast burritos, omelets, biscuits gravy, theirhuge pancakes and they have the best coffee. For the most part the staff is always great and attentive. However, there are timeswhere we don't really get checked up on and we need salsa/ coffee/ creamer, but Alexis is ON TOP OF IT. We love when she'saround, she is great and friendly. Honestly, we get such a great experience every time she helps us and i think that's why wekeep going back as well."

"Visited the Mesquite Pit for Saturday lunch. Ordered the Armadillo eggs (very tasty brisket stuffed fried jalapenos) to start, followed by st. Louis style ribs. Party also got chopped beef and pork chop. All the entrees were delicious. Of the sides, themashed potatoes, onion rings, and green beans were standouts. And the bread is delicious! Awesome atmosphere and huge portionswill not disappoint. 5/5 can't wait to return."
