"Quaint place where order is placed at window, then brought to your table. Indoor dining in several rooms of the house; outdoor dining at picnic tables. Meat is served dry (no sauce) and is very tender. Mac cheese is wonderful. Potato salad has light Cajun seasoning."

"It's a little while since I last visited this place, but was glad to see Familiar Faces with the same enthusiasm as I remember earlier! I found the Cup selection to survive pleasantly and the service was extraordinary! Both Nicole (which treated my transactions) and my Barista were on the go with drinks suggestions and favorable supplements, as I tried something from the Beaten path. Nicole was a patient, informative and accommodating, All Qualities that will ensure a shortened period of time until my next visit! Kudos!"

"Listen, if we could give 100 stars we would! We are new to Houston and only have 2 more months to be here. I am VERY picky when it comes to Italian food (because it’s my favorite and I can honestly say, I NOW have something to cry about when we leave. The food here is nothing short of excellence. Every aspect of our experience was stellar. I have never in my life had basil pesto that tasted so fresh. Their bread was the best Italian bread we’ve ever had. My husband kept asking me “ok what about the pasta, is it better than (so and so’s place? or what about the gelato, or the appetizers? I told him that this was the 1st and only place I’ve ever been to where ALL parts of the meal were well past my expectations. Very well passed. We found out their gelato is made from a native Italian (you can tell because the fruits and flavors are all fresh and burst of flavor in your mouth and we also found out they grow a lot of their food right next to their restaurant! The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could be. We got to meet the owner which was an honor in of itself, but then learned he was the chef who cooked our meal! Even the smell…EVEN THE SMELL of the restaurant smelled like a true authentic Italian restaurant. We discovered they take extra measures to make sure it smells that way. This family owned restaurant is one for the books and stole our hearts. We left smiling and raving about our experience the whole 25 minute drive. You can’t go wrong eating here! We are so blessed to have found this gem and look forward to going back before we move!"
