If you’re looking for super posh this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for delicious homemade sandwiches, scones, cakes and desserts with all the extras and a smiling staff, this is a lovely place. They set up a beautiful corner of the garden for us then unfortunately a light rain started for just an hour so we did move inside. The Claremont is a small inn but a very classy little place. Staff really lovely and yummy sandwiches and cakes at after noon tea!
The afternoon tea was a delight, the quality of the food was very fresh and had lots of taste, we were asked a few times if all was ok which is great ????????
