"Thanks to my school being located just down the street fromI've been visiting this South Indian restaurant since my childhood.<br/ <br/ Location- United cafe is located adjacent to the Ashoka Cinema and opposite the Manton Supermarket.<br/ Rating- 5/5<br/ <br/ Ambience- The cafe can get a little claustrophobic in the summers but since most people visit it for a quick bite,it should be too big of a deal.<br/ Rating- 3. 5/5<br/ <br/ Service- The staff is prompt at their response and wait time is about 5-10 mins max.<br/ Rating- 5/5<br/ <br/ Food- The dishes they serve is just the regular Dosa, idli, vada etc. They used to taste incredible but overtime the coconut chutney and sambar has someone derailed in terms of quality.<br/ Rating- 3.5/5<br/ <br/ There's no doubt about the fact that this place is a cult favorite in most people living in and around Behala. But it'd be great if they could on their food quality a little bit more."

"I've been visiting South Indian Coffee House for over several decades and it has never disappointed servers. If you love South Indian food, this is an absolute must to visit in Behala. They are a small institution, but their shares are definitely not! In addition to traditional South Indian food, you can also buy authentic South Indian foods that you do not get anywhere. I am there regularly and cannot recommend it very much!"

"My mum had always told me to enjoy a good south Indian breakfast of Idli and chutney so there wasn't any other alternative to this great restaurant so I came here for at least they were very soft and extremely delicious I finished my mail with her filter coffee which team which two options either with sugar or without being spoilt for choices I took it with sugar and also enjoyed my food very much thanks a lot four stars"
