"I had heard great things but upon visiting ordered the vegetarian burger and it was mushy and lacked any texture whatsoever. The chips were good and the fact that they give you free water brought up the review. Otherwise it would have been 2 stars for me. Below average food and service wasn't great either."

"Damn!! Such good pizza. Best in Huaraz. Worth the walk/taxi drive. Margarita, spicy, vegetarian... anything. Just so good. It's also very quite. They actually have a proper oven for pizzas. we went back 3 times. Especially after big hikes with our groups The owner/host is extremely kind and hospitable. Her smile always makes me feel welcome."

"Really enjoyable meal in La Brasa Roja. My friend and I both ordered burgers which were really tasty and large, and also came with a big portion of chips. Very reasonably priced as well. If I were to go back, I'd get the chicken though it looked amazing. Only fault was that the service was very slow, so maybe don't visit if you are in a rush! We also picked up take away sandwiches for our hike the following day, and these were great too."

"My girl and I were looking for a chill place to sit, drink coffee and if the menu looked OK, have lunch. We arrived here, went in, looked at the menu… and went straight out again. The prices they charge for coffee are a disgrace. I wouldn’t even pay 4€ for a cappuccino in Brussels or Paris… the owner should really reconsider the prices of their beverages and hot drinks. The food looked more reasonably priced."
