"We have traveled from the Annapolis Valley to Chester Basin several time each summer for many years just to enjoy the Seaside Shanty's wonderful lobster chowder. This year no lobster chowder so ordered seafood chowder instead. What a letdown! Chowder was filled with mushy fish and a mixture of tiny scallops, clams and mussels. Never experienced this under old owners. Blueberry grunt was good. Waitress was pleasant and very obliging. Won't go back again."
