"Disappointing experience, a place we wanted to try due to the reviews being so positive. We chose the bottomless brunch and sat in the courtyard. The food was ok but my muffin was rock hard underneath the egg. The head waiter wasn’t particularly helpful and and the younger waiter I found to be a little rude. We were told to wave when ever we wanted a drink but were left outside and forgotten about. There was nobody outside as both waiters stood around and didn’t think to check. The only reason we managed to get any drinks was because the fridge and freezers etc were outside so had to ask repeatedly to have the heater on and for drinks. So not a place either of us would go to or recommend."

"This is our first afternoon tea in the shop after having two takeaway teas over the last 2 years in lockdown. All i can say is wow. Richards cakes are amazing, so light. Everything is so tasty. We've had afternoon teas at other places in...the past but this knocks the socks off them all."

"Great food and plenty of it, attentive and pleasant staff and nicely decorated place. The only thing stopping 5* across the board was how loud the doorbell is (we were sat under it), and it certainly tells you when someone enters haha overall brilliant.
