"Very cute restaurant with great food. Unfortunately, they need to do a lot of work on their customer service. Abrupt short greeting, almost seemed to be a bother when we asked to be seated. Sat at the table for a while before someone came to table to take order and ended up being about 4 minutes after breakfast time closed, waitress said sorry only lunch available now (even though we had been sitting and in the cafe for about 5-10 minutes. Not accommodating and poor customer service. Similar to other reviews I read. It’s a shame because the cafe is cute and food is good, but really does put a downer to your meal when customer service is poor at best."

"We celebrated a special occassion at lunch today at le Surcouf and were delighted with the service, menu choices and wine selection. We enjoyed a fabulous lobster bisque and salad to start with and entrees of veal liver and scallops, as our main dishes, both...served with lovely vegetables. All of our plates were beautifully presented. We are looking forwrd to our next meal at this outstanding restaurant in a beautiful setting. Needless to say we also enjoyed the wine and coffee."

"Went for late dinner and was very satisfied with the food and the wine the service was ok the only thing was at first we were seated by a girl that did not have a welcome smile and she is also the one that started taking our order,About ten min in a second person came and took her place..best thing she was spunky,smiling and nice.the down size very noisy should put a bit of sound proof to help with the noise.but over all nice experience."

"Fries not cook, had to get up 3 times for glasses, order a drink since no waitress was attending to us. The présentation of drinks no citron or lime or decorations at all. Sangria is good but won't go there again. Poor service."
