"Oh My gosh!! I am blown away at how INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS this sliced brisket sandwich is! I just left the place and I'm eating the most delicious, moist, tender, juicy, flavorful brisket I have ever had in my life. No more going to Pappas BBQ for me. Those brisket poboys are good but does not even come close to this pure deliciousness. This was my first time, as I've just discovered this place. The man gave me a military discount, brought my food out to me and wow. Honestly, at first I thought the price seemed a little high but after biting into this, it's totally worth every penny. And Brisket is NOT cheap. The quality of this brisket, whether comparing it to friends family that have cooked brisket in the back yard or ANY restaurant, honestly this is better than ANY I've ever eaten. Even the bun it was served on is top quality n tasty. But this meat, there's no way it could be beaten. Go there. Eat. You won't be disappointed."

"I never had anything bad in Chuys. This is also my favorite place. I tried something else, the taco salad with chickenfajita. Sooo good. Chicken had great taste and it was enough to feed me for 2 meals! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly."

"We were very disappointed about this location after reading all of the good reviews. The pho was kinda bland compared to other pho places we have been at. The sliced pork and rice looked delicious but the taste wasn't that great. We did finish the pork but not the pho. Service was not that great our waiter, he seemed very timid and just sat us down and left and it was a lot of inconsistencies like that with him for a while. We won't be coming back to this location."

"I loved the burgers at the original location, but the area was a little sketched and the restaurant was a little crampy. The new location has the same big burgers with a much improved location and Filialfront. I know that there can be great hurdles in quality control when opening a second location, but I think they have done the expansion very well."

"Stop scrolling and head to Pappas! We visited the Houston area for 1 day due to a flight delay and are so glad we chose to eat here. We ordered the Pappas Deluxe Platter, the Mahi Lemon Chili Crab, and the Jumbo Shrimp Brochette which is what our waiter, Jeremy L., recommended. First , I will say it was way too much food for 2 people, but being from west Texas fresh seafood is hard to come by so we splurged because we wanted to try different things. The entrees were all large- it was enough for 3-4 people easily. Every portion of food starting with the fresh bread and butter was absolutely excellent. Jeremy’s recommendation, the shrimp brochette, was the best overall dish I have tasted in a very long time. The mains and sides were all perfect. We finished with the turtle fudge brownie for dessert. Words cannot describe how delectable this ice cream covered brownie is. I could’ve died at the table and left happy. Our server, Jeremy, was just as amazing as the food. He made great recommendations and was so friendly! The atmosphere is wonderful and the restaurant is adequately staffed with people who enjoy working there. I notice things like that these days and genuinely appreciate a well-run establishment. The manager was visiting tables to ensure everyone’s experience was up to par. Keep the bar high Pappa’s team! You are awesome! We will definitely be back when we visit Houston again."
