"Staff was unfriendly and rude, attempted to tell us to leave because they were too busy. The girl taking orders complained loudly about being stressed and overworked the entire time we were there. Saw 2 customers turned away for being too busy even though it was just us waiting for a take out order and 2 tables with customers seated. There were no pending phone orders because she had also unplugged the phone because, you guessed it, they were too busy. Being so busy, however, did not prevent her from taking a smoke break immediately after taking our order leaving 2 girls in the kitchen to deal with the overwhelming amount of work alone. Food was not good and the place was pretty dirty. I won 't be returning."

"My wife Cindy and I stayed at Terra Alta for a camp anniversary dinner, and Russ 's Ribs made dinner. Fantastic sauce, delicious meat and many good sides made the meal good. What made it better was to talk to Russ and listen to the passions that make his food and life unique. Had a great conversation with Russ and got a gift from something sauce to boot. Thank you. "Best pies within a 50 mile radius. Definitely worth the trip. My wife and I drove all the way in from New Martinsville just to have a couple of slices. I had the vanilla walnut and my wife had a slice of the pecan caramel pie. Of course we shared. Good value, and the slices were big enough to take some home with us. The diner is quaint with a full menu, and we met the owners, who were super nice. I think the Double V is about the same distance from New Martinsville, Clarksburg, and Morgantown. It's a nice country drive, and well worth it. Double V is a gem hidden in Hundred that I hope more people discover for themselves."
