This is just one of the consistently great places we keep returning to. It's steady Eddy pub food from a traditional English pub with well kept beer and no nonsense. The homemade pies are a real treat, the fish and chips are just banging. The whole menu deserves its place at the Talbot Inn. It’s ok, that’s the best description I can give. We were waiting quite a long time for food but had been advised of wait- when it arrived it was very average but then it was cheap. Unfortunately my veggie option chilli was so hot I couldn’t eat it- and that’s not me being an annoying veggie, my husband- who likes it hot spice wise- agreed amount of jalapeños and level of spice made it tasteless and uncomfortable to e...
