"We had heard about this place from our friend, so this June I drove 60 miles down the coast of Nova Scotia to pick up a two pizzas for my wife and myself, the service was friendly and I was glad we had called ahead...since on Friday night the order took a hour. Even after a hr. in my car (under a blanket) the pizzas were still warm when my wife and I open the boxes. These are truly the best pizzas we have ever had in Nova Scotia, while not Chicago or New York style the crust was perfect some where in between the two. The cheese and topping were fresh and very tasty. I would not normally drive for over a hour to pick up a pizza but I am sure glade I did."

"We went here for dinner based on a recommendation from our hotel and we were not disappointed. Very nice setting in a beautiful old pub. Service was excellent as was the meal. I had the burger and my wife had the haddock salad. Both servings were very large and we decided to have the strawberry shortcake and it was excellent. It was a large slice of vanilla bean cake with whipped cream and tons of strawberries, lots for two people to finish. Very nice setting with reasonable prices."

"It was years since I was at a dixie lee and was super excited to see that it was in liverpool where we would come to visit. it was not disappointing and was much better than I could imagine. the server was very pleasant....We had delicious mozza sticks and I had a 2 piece snack pack, the huh was perfect with big fries. my fiancée ordered the seafood snack pack, but they made the meal mistaken so that he got it without a price. it had delicious garnel, skalopp and fish with roll, cole Slav and delicious frits. we were filled when we left there, we hope to come back when we are in the opposite in December. what a tasty bite if we had dixie lee where we live!"

"Exemplary service. I had some issues at checkout and got a call out of the blue to fix it. So so so impressed. Next day delivery on a Monday after ordering on a Sunday. The only company I could find offering this. And the flowers are gorgeous with a cute little fake ladybird on one of the leaves. I’m delighted. My friend who I sent the flowers to is delighted. This is what caring service and a great business looks like. Thank you! Order your flowers now!"

"This isn't the best pizza I've had, but it's not bad. The donair pizza is quite good. Staff is usually very friendly, despite being busy. Their donairs and subs and good too. Chicken wings are simple but very tasty. Would definitely return."

"Seafood chowders. Potatoes not cooked. Another missing fish it was mainly uncooked potatoes. Tasted awful/former yrs recipe was Not used. Missing several key ingredients. We Called re the awful chowders. The owner was to be told as well as the 2nd cook. Next day we Called again to see if a new batch was made. Went back next day as was assured it was a new batch and the old recipe. It was Not! Then older heavy woman with painted makeup and black hair was “very rude and insulting”. Such bad customer service by 2 employees. Factual constructive customer feedback is not welcome. We gave them a chance to correct it discretely with customer feedback but it was definitely not welcome. Bad staff is no staff and the tall woman with short red/ brown hair was also a bad employee and did something rude. The evening before there was a sweet young woman serving icecream who gave excellent customer service. She is a good example. It was two horrible experiences on two consecutive days and not the chowders recipe we had for years. We will never go back."

"Charming little bakery and shop with a really beautiful owner. they have delicious sourdough bread, which is vegan and try to sell vegan cookies for awhile, but I think they were not well sold so I don't think they have more. their business is filled with unique imported and local products. when I was in them, they had vegan cheese and meat including from real fake meats. to find many other goodies."
