Contribute FeedbackConnors offers a mixed experience with excellent food but disappointing service. Despite delicious dishes like the NY Strip Steak and Calamari, issues such as bugs on the table and poorly executed dry-aged Delmonico steaks were reported. While some guests enjoyed the Voodoo shrimp and T-Bone steak, others felt disappointed. Despite some negative aspects, general feedback highlighted great food, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and cozy ambiance. Special mentions include the Chilean Seabass, lamb chops, and excellent service. The birthday celebration received a free strawberry shortcake, enhancing the overall experience. Reservations are recommended due to high demand.
I've eaten here many times and still have to be disappointed. The quality of steaks here is above average from anywhere else. The staff is very attentive and well trained. From appetizers to lure it to desserts the whole package. I took a customer today and they were blown away how amazing the entire experience was. Stop the good work.
Came back to my wife's birthday, it was all amazing! Started with the lobster Dip I highly recommend! The pork pliers were so tender and the aged ribeye steak I would have eaten all night! Customer service and atmosphere were great! Will be back for sure thanks Connors!!
Terrible experience and will not return. After we had waited for 45min in the heat, our party of 7 sat outside. There were two tables and we both took. We asked if they put the tables together so we could hold the party together, we were told no immediately. We asked if we could push them together, we were told no again. This outing was a 90-year birthday, and they eager and effective kept us apart. We asked the manager again, we pleaded our case. We have a 90-year birthday girl here, my family is out of town and we move the tables would not block the fire outlet. We were told by the manager that the floor was not suitable to move the tables after this was said, I looked down to see napkins that keep the tables stable. So, **** Connors and their management. Rant aside, the food was pretty good. You make a decent NY Strip Steak and her Calamari is honestly one of the best I ever had. Our server, although new, was extremely attentive and helpful. Only the problem was that he forgot my soup (Lobster Bisque) and we were still accused. The bathrooms were clean and the ambient tone was not too loud or annoying. So, I guess Connor is ruining a 90-year-old lady's birthday, her guys went over and beyond to make sure we don't come back.
Holy smokers. Come here. It's just so good. Five stars don't cut it. Seven stars. Maybe eight. Your Chilean Seabass is really one of the top five things I've ever eaten. And I eat well, guys. The cousin alone was worth the trip. Couscous! You know, the gland you never looked at? Every bite was amazing. It was herbic and it only has a few garden peas and some slightly boiled red peppers and these two things with the herbs gave him a mouthfeel on par with a really good IPA, while refreshing and aromatic, but somehow still subtle. I had no idea that this stuff could be so good. But this sea bass... wow. The first bite... one of the best bites I've ever had. It was smokey, it was so juicy that I don't even understand how it's POSSIBLE... And it has a perfect crispy crust and still somehow melted in my mouth. I could cut it with my fork without effort, but not a bit of juice went out until I pierced it. The season was perfect. I can't think of a single thing that would have made this record better. None. I mean, I could go on. The crab cake was fantastic. The lobster dip was the hands I've ever had. The crackers that came with the dips are phenomenal. But if you want to know how good the food was? I'm eating at 3rd late lunch. I didn't eat that day anymore because nothing else in the WORLD would have been good enough to follow this plate. I'm back. Don't miss trying this place. But a reservation, they were full. For good reason. If you have no reservation... They will not regret waiting for this quality of food.
My girlfriend and I had a really pleasant experience here. We didn't have a reservation but the high chair tables and bar are first come first serve so we got to skip the wait. We had lunch, I had the sirloin and she had the shrimp and grits. We also had the deviled eggs appetizer. Those eggs were intense in a good way. But if you don't like truffles they are not for you. For $16 that sirloin was a steal. It tasted as good as, if not better than, $60 steaks I've had around Huntsville. My girlfriend enjoyed her shrimp and grits, although she did think the grits were a bit dry. I tried them and didn't quite agree. The service was on point too, I must add. I think this is a fine place to have lunch at and recommend it.
