"We saw great rating of this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We arrived a little early and we were told to come back later which is fine. The waitress, Don is excellent and that 's the reason I gave the star. For the food, it really doesn 't deserve any star. We ordered PEAR AND BLUE CHEESE SALAD. Instead of hazelnuts, We got staled smell walnuts. We ordered CRISPY PORK BELLY which is a bit salty. The rosemary candied apples can be stronger taste to blend with the fats. But it 's subjective. We ordered Duck. The risotto is flat. Confit duck breast expected to be tender in meat, but it 's overcooked to almost dry meat. Lastly the most disturbing was the $39, CRISPY DOVER SOLE. One piece of long finger size fish stick put on top of mountain size of mashed potatoes, and submerged in a soup called creamy chardonnay sauce, with few frozen tiny shrimps and mussels, sided with 2 branches of broccolis. It looked like a $3.99 fast food cheap meal. I can 't imagine this is served in such a well known restaurant. Any ordinary restaurant will serve 2 giant tiger shrimps, couple fresh mussels with shells, and top with a decent size of fried sole served with real creamy 'Chardonnay ' sauce to match with the price. No one wants to see a mountain size of mashed potatoes nor big branch of broccolis and a soup of cream sauce with frozen tiny seafoods. The chef is the problem, not the waitress. The 1 star is only credited to the waitress who at least cheered up the experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$50–60"

"The Gelato is a must try. Be aware, the place is pretty popular so the line ups can get long.Tried the guava Gelato and absolutely loved it. However, there was a big que for getting the Gelato and another que to pay."
