Whilst staying with our family we came here on a Friday evening. The restaurant in the 200 year caveau (cellar) looked was very atmospheric but totally empty. Two men and a dog plus one couple eventually arrived. As we were nowhere near any of the diners we felt isolated. Our starters cheered us up the scallop ravioli was exceptional. The vaulted natural stone dining room is very special and the subdued lighting atmospheric, if not ideal for reading the menu. Service was good at the start of our meal, but slowed down as the restaurant filled up. I chose the prawn and scallop starter very tasty and nicely presented, followed by kidneys with assorted vegetables O.K., but not exceptional. My wife's foie gras was very good, and her duck was also fine.... View all feedback.
