Clifton Indian - Hyndburn

Didn't know about this Indian in Accrington, so when I heard they were doing vouchers on the local radio station 2BR I decided to give it a try, only we didn't. We got our voucher, there were still plenty left when we bought ours, we rang up to book a table and we were told they had had all the vouchers and that the radio station had sold more than what they should, so when I questioned why there were still more available they couldn't answer. On ringing the radio station they advised that they had welched on the contract. On this basis I won't go there again, and I hope they end up the same way as all the other businesses that have been in that building, CLOSED.

Went there after buying a voucher from 2BR radio station. Hadn't heard of the place before but on arrival had a lovely chat with Ali (the owner) who told us all about the new restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and we really enjoyed our choice of dishes. I would recommend you try this place for yourselves. We would return.

Went here after getting a voucher off the bee radio. We thought it was a buffet as it was a Sunday and it said so in the window and on their Facebook page, but no such luck. Having said that the menu was varied and we all enjoyed our meal. They haven't got an alcohol licence yet but they told us this when booking and said we could bring our own. They do have soft drinks. It was pretty quiet which was a shame but from the outside at first glance it doesn't look open which won't assist with walk ins. All in all a good meal but nothing amazingly special.

The staff had negative attitudes, provided poor service, and the hygiene was lacking. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. There is nothing more to say - you would be better off going to McDonald's, where at least they are upfront about their food and it is fresh.

My partner and I went to Clifton Cafe after prebooking a table, but we were disappointed upon arrival. We found the place to be dingy and unclean, and the food and service were both subpar. I would only recommend this cafe to my worst enemies.
