"Went for valentine's night and had valentine's menu.. Service was slow(very French). Food when it arrived was superb. Others had candle on table which my partner noted we did not. Had to ask for water twice. Overall I would say the waiting staff were not professional trained but were trying their best to please. Will definatly go back for the super curry's we shared."

"Visited twice while visiting family nearby. Once on Good Friday evening and again on Easter Sunday for lunch. Lovely cosy little pub with a friendly atmosphere. The landlady and locals made us feel very welcome. 10 of us went for lunch and the service was excellent. Great choice of food on the menu, and although we was a large group, nobody was waiting for course's and all was served promptly and together. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back again next time we visit. Lovely big beer garden out the back too which was well kept. If visiting in the summer would definitely sit out there for a few pints!"

"We popped in for a quick drink, had a perusal of the menu. Very resalable prices and a great choice of food we will be returning for a meal. There are two halfs of this pub it seems to be one side for food and one side for drinks I may be wrong) this was my impression anyway. "It is a couple of years since we visited this pretty pub.We met up here with friends today for a long overdue catchup. A beautiful hot sunny day and we sat in the pretty gardens in the welcome shade of the many trees. The service was polite and slick, our food an absolute delight. The food was hot and beautifully presented and delicious . We shall return again soon."

"This is our favourite takeaway restaurant in Dover. The staff are always so friendly and the young lady answers the phone is always so polite and takes the orders very professionally. The food is exceptional and so tasty and full of flavour. We usually collect our order and as a special touch the owner always includes a few cans of fizzy pop! I really highly recommend this establishment."
