Vegan and vegetarian dishes on the map, very friendly and tried to veganize other dishes on request. Our food was great every time. Also on the lunch card there...

"The first visit this evening clearly exceeded expectations. Although the beverages have not yet been produced themselves, the hop trays were nevertheless operated quickly and optically appealingly. The dishes were of excellent quality, the price-performance ratio more than reasonable! Kitchen occupation and service are to be praised, a follow-up visit is likely! Next!"

"My wife and I brought our friends here for a double date night. The restaurant is quaint with lots of charm. The owner was quite friendly, showed us the wine cellar with vintage wines and rock wall which the restaurant is built right into. The...wine cellar was very small but it fit in perfectly with the overall ambiance. The owner even provided recommendations for Nahe wine and places to visit while we were in Germany. We had the restaurant to ourselves which was quite nice. The service was quite good and our steak was perfect. We also enjoyed the local Nahe wines which do taste different than from the Mosel region. Feinherbst rose and Spatbugrunder trocken were the highlights. The only downsides were the salads (premade and inability to split the bill between the couples. We were paying in cash (experienced travels : so it was a minimal inconvenience. Overall, a very good restaurant with good service, food, and wine that is worth the cost and a perfect way to end a visit to Idar-Oberstein."
