barista stef knows a lot about coffee and will come and talk to them if they want it. the coffees are top notch and all have their own history. Although not everything is vegan, there is enough for vegans to enjoy a beautiful time here, especially if they are the infertile dry desert ypres regarding vegan options. there is also attention to detail and fair trade, ethical, environmentally friendly and local products.... We didn't stay to have a drink on site, because there were heavy and noisy road construction works at the corner, and it was not very pleasant (must be really dreadful dealing with this, especially after already having been... Very cosy and warm to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Great ambiance with jazz music. Very friendly and passionate owners always ready to explain and talk. Vegan latte and raw cakes are delicious.

Barista Stef knows a whole lot about coffee and will come over and talk to you about it if you want this. The coffees are top notch and all have their own story. Although not everything is vegan, there is enough for vegans to enjoy a nice time here, especially if you look at the barren dry desert Ypres is in terms of vegan options. There's also attention to detail and fair trade, ethical, environmental friendly and local products. In short, must visit for any vegan that finds theirselves in Ypres. Would be five stars but that used to be reserved for 100% vegan places.
Slowwings is the place to be to taste a vegan raw cake and drink a very nice cup of coffee. The owners are always friendly and in for a little smalltalk.
