"I made reservations for 2. When we got to our table we noticed there was a small piece of paper with a list of food items, which included 2 portions of sheep stew, none of which we had ordered. When we enquired about the menu,...the waitress was surprised. She called the same man who had welcomed us at the door and he was visibly annoyed that we didn’t want the menu he had pre-chosen for us. When we selected 2 fish soups (filled with noodles and not tasty) and one portion of grilled cod to share, he was upset. He told us this grilled fish would take ONE HOUR to prepare and questioned why we only wanted to order one portion to share. He then said HE WOULD MAKE AN EXCEPTION AND ALLOW US TO ORDER ONE PORTION ONLY THIS TIME!!! The bacalhau (cod) turned out to be boiled instead of grilled and came with such old and disgusting accompaniment that we were appalled! I don’t drink, so I refused the glass of wine he insisted I ordered, so I was very surprised when the waitress brought me a glass of wine! All in all, a very big disappointment and don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I don’t know if it has changed ownership but it is no longer the great restaurant it used to be. The service is bad and the food even worse. I gave one star because o couldn’t give zero."
