What User doesn't like about Il Pescematto:
The food is very good, especially the « fritto misto », and the choices include Ligurian and Italian local delicacies. The place is very nice for a lovely and calm lunch or dinner, located right on beach with a beautiful view on the Ligurian Sea. The only thing I would point out is the staff, which, from my point of view, was unprofessional by being distracted and not efficient. View all feedback.
I’m not usually a fan of seafood but I have to say this was brilliant and great value! Grilled calamari and Calabrian cod starters, followed by salmon and swordfish main courses. Water plus one beer, total €53 plus tip I can imagine parking being difficult in peak season though. Recommended
We were 4 adults, the venue is really nice, and the staff too. We ate veal, swordfish, calamares and slices of meat. Everything really good, well prepared, but too little of the side dishes together with the meat and fish. The desserts (tiramisu, chocolate fondant and pannacotta) were just delicious and also served with a big bucket of merengue «crema». Recommended.
Dinner we had with the family was perfect. Everyone was happy with the meals. Calamari...pure perfection!!!Excellent service, delicious food... great place for dinner.
This was our second visit to Il Pescematto and since the weather was pleasant we had the opportunity to sit outside right at the seaside, which obviously enhanced the experience. Last time we had the 35 euro five-course menu, but this time we settled on the tuna which for us was the highlight of the menu. And it certainly didn't disappoint this time either. The only slight negative is that the wine list seems a little more expensive than what is customary in Imperia. But we had a wonderful meal and will certainly be back!
Great restaurant in beautiful location with nice summer terrace. Very good and welcoming service. Amazing food. We had pasta with fish, calamari, spaghetti and gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce, everything was just perfect. Highly recommend this place!
