I was somewhat skeptical having read several mixed and less favorable reviews. However, we enjoyed a very lovely dinner with magnificent views overlooking the tall pines and Lake Tahoe. I ordered the pork chop and asked it to be blackened (Cajun style if possible). Although the pork chop wasn’t fully blackened (Cajun style) it was very tasty and quite good. For the price the food and service were just so-so. We ordered the halibut and the risotto w two scallops. The halibut tastes bland and we thought maybe it was frozen. The risotto was ok but the scallops were tasty. But for the what seems like new prices, we didn’t feel like it was a very good value. Our halibut was overcooked and dry, had to use a knife to cut it. Very flavorless meal. The mahi fish and chips were excellent. Our busboy was great!
