"I had asked for a window seat for a very special occasion when I made the reservation and did not receive one. I understand they are not guaranteed but it makes me wonder how they decide who gets those seats. Our waitress was in training but you never would have known if she didn't tell us. She was bubbly and very attentive. Her recommendations were spot on. I got the pear martini special but there was no Cinnamon sugar on the rim as described. Loved the champagne dressing on the salad. We got the walleye and special shrimp and scallop entrees. The special was fantastic but the spicy apples with the walleye dish weren't a big hit. Pier W is very classy with the piano player. I wish they would have a dress code that would include no jeans."

"Finally...a place other than downtown, Ohio city or Tremont for expresso... they made me a latte 'text book ' perfect....good location, fun staff, nice historical decor..good coffee, decent pricing...I 'm going back....."
