Another review said that Smokehouse tries to be like Jack Stack. I've never eaten at Jack Stack, but Smokehouse is my all time favorite bbq around here. My only word of caution is that if you order grilled chicken it seems to always take awhile, but it's yummy and hot when it get to ya. Anything else, like steak or sandwiches, comes out much faster. Being a longtime fan of KC barbecue, I tried Smokehouse, or maybe I should say Jack Stack Lite . They 've completely taken everything from Jack Stack, all the way to naming their dishes the exact same. Is this legal? Well, they 've tried to copy Jack Stack, but the service wasn 't even close.
