Contribute Feedback--- This café showcases a personal touch, featuring their own photographs and the coffee they roast themselves. The unsweetened oat milk latte I had was one of the finest espresso-based drinks I've enjoyed in a long time, especially since so many places have turned to automated machines. It was rich, smooth, and full-bodied—definitely not bitter or muddy. I prefer a bolder flavor, so I added an extra shot, and it was absolutely perfect. I hope to return before my visit to Waxhaw ends. I would definitely go out of my way to enjoy their coffee!
I absolutely love pastries, and I have to share this gem with you! The bakers here are truly amazing! Each bite is buttery, flaky, and delicious. I’m tempted to keep this place a secret, but my mom always taught me the importance of sharing. The breads are a work of art, and the baked goods are equally impressive. They also serve excellent coffee!
This is a fantastic little spot for a great cup of coffee. It's actually called Bakehouse, although...
Coffee in waxhaw! seriously! they had some location changes over the years, and in the meantime I would try to serve the other coffeeshops and/or bakeries, the other locally roasted coffee. but nothing in comparison to sospeso! I have tried to like the others, and they are in order, but sospeso is the best! and I have just found out that they can call in their order and they will bring it into their car! They are in the provisions in the inner city of waxhaw, but if they don't want to wait in the line or smell like speck, then they call to go in their coffee!
Janet and Cyle are super friendly. I had my first bullet proof coffee here and was really impressed. They have whiskey and bourbon barrel aged coffees as well that smelled amazing, I'm planning to try those next! They even had a dry hopped iced coffee in a bottle that I was able to sample, and as a home brewer I really appreciated the hint of citra hops in a really smooth iced coffee.
