Benihana's grill is an excellent option for dining with a group. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is satisfactory. The menu offers delicious hibachi-style grilled steak, seafood, chicken, sushi, soup, salad, rice, and udon noodles. The restaurant is clean, although it appears slightly dated. It is located behind The Mall at Keystone at the Crossing. View all feedback.
What Steven Hallmark doesn't like about Benihana:
If you're looking to make a large party happy, you can't go wrong with Benihana. Known for its original hibachi style dining experience, it remains the best choice in town. While there are other local hibachi restaurants that I also enjoy, when I want the best, I always choose Benihana. If you have a big party and want everyone to be happy, you can't be much better than Benihana. It is the original Hibachi style restaurant, and still the best there are closer local Hibachi restaurants (which I promote and enjoy), but if I want the best I want to go to Benihana. This location could use a new paint, it looks a little worn and it seemed staff was on short supply (but this is all restaurants these days), but our family had a great time and everyone enjoyed the meal and presentation.
I love their food or should I say the only thing I ever order which is the Benihana trio. I am disappointed tho at how the prices have gone up...I remember when we use to pay about $60 and that was for two meals. Today's total was $98 and for that reason we won't be visiting as much
Decent visit overall. We stood at the front door for about 15 minutes before being sat. Took about another 15 minutes to see the server and get drinks. There were only two servers so it also took a bit to get our order in and a chef in front of us to cook. Our chef was awesome, food was great. Our server was friendly and we ended up having a good visit once it got going. The carpet is sticky and needs cleaning. The wall paper is greasy and pealing off the walls. The fixtures around the hibachi including the speakers, lights, and air vents were also very greasy. For this price point the restaurant needs to be cleaned and updated. No manager present
The food was decent. The hosting was ok. The cook was awesome. He made the whole experience. Other than that I probably won't be back soon
This is the worst experience I've had with benihana. The drinks tasted funny to start off. So after 30 min the server can back to the table. The service was just horrible by the way. We asked for water instead. Once the water came out the glasses was covered with finger prints of sources, so we didn't drink anything at all. I was ready to leave after my onion soup wasn't edible, but my wife insisted on us staying. When i got my main course i was spending more time removing the lemon seed the chief squeezed over the meat then enjoying my meal. I will never visit this location again it was hands down my worst experience i ever had. I can't wait to get back to Orlando Florida. I took a few photo of a few lemon seeds.
