"We were with a group visiting Eltville at a sunny day and after a unique boat tour at the Rhine in need for a good luncheon. Restaurant is close to the river and the center and has a very nice terrace overlooking the river. Of course they have good Riesling. I had a cold roast beef with baked potatoes. Others had trout, and other meat. Was good luncheon, lady who served us did it well and prices were fair, certainly for the view."

"First thing, when you come into the restaurant, the manager welcomes you with a hand shake. The food is typical Italian, but not Pizza. It is cooked to perfection and also the wine and liquor selection is outstanding."

"We just popped in because it smelled lovely. We 4 were not disappointed! We had Italian antipasti, lots of it, fresh and yummy. Then fried fish, involtini, risotto and pasta. Gorgeous, big portions which we could not finish, they packed the leftovers up for us. Lively family place, lots going on. Unfortunately there are trains running past, which makes a bit of noise, but it's acceptable. Very much recommended!"

"Eine Zeit lang arbeitete ich um die Ecke. Immer wieder verbrachten wir unsere Mittagspause im De Paola oder ich holte mir Pizza oder leckere Nudeln mit ins Büro oder aß auch mal gemütlich auf einer Bank im Park.Die Leute sind nett, aber ohne irgendwie anbiedernd zu sein. Einfach ganz normal. Die Pizza ist toll. Wirklich. Der Steinofen macht halt was aus. Die Nudeln sind auch sehr gut. Alles ist frisch, alles passt. Ach ja, auch sehr faire Preise!Jetzt arbeite ich nicht mehr in Wiesbaden. Ganz ehrlich: So viel vermisse ich nicht, aber die Pizza...die schon."
