"On a Sunday evening in France one is often pushed to find any grub let alone something as pleasing as this. The set menu for euros 25 28 for 2 3 courses (drinks not included) was ok given the quality of the ingredients. The starters were small, but beautifully prepared beignets of vegetables and roulade. There was also a really good pate as a little taster. The main courses, duck (really succulent and pink) and pork fillet were again well presented and beautifully cooked. Slight quibble the vegetable garnish but accept the French don't seem keen on their veg in any quantity. The cheese was certainly good but prefer it warmer, and we like Camembert runny. Good wine selection, and the local malvoisie was much enjoyed. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Would happily return if in the area again."
