I eat takeout the New York steak is what you want to order it's what they specialize in and it's fresh not frozen...

Fantastic food and service, we travelled through BC and this was by far the best meals we've had.

"Finally took the plunge and stopped in for an early dinner. The dining car is great. The interior takes me back to good memories of a simpler time. It's a nice simple menu which I really enjoy. I ordered a clubhouse with turkey soup. The sandwich was very good. The soup was served lukewarm at best. Husband was happy with his meal, even though the fries were not hot. Service was attentive. This place serves pure diner fare. I'm willing to give it another try with burgers and a shake in hopes it will bring back some of the tastes I remember from my youth."

"When you first walk in, the decor seems kind of hokey and grandma-ish, but I fell in love with the place and became a regular anyway! Their tea selection is astounding! If you visit this restaurant and not order from their tea menu, you are missing out, my friend! Their food menu is vast, and the selections are hit and miss. My favourite thing is the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Their fried fish is really good too. Breakfast items are always good, but everything else is a little eh. The service I receive there has always been top notch!"
