Probably some of the best cafe food in Southland, I had a chicken melt a chocolate raspberry brownie. Both were delish!

"I got the peanut chicken stir fry in hot. The veges in the stir fry weren't cooked (still frozen in places), had little to no chicken. The spice used didn't compliment the dish and there was little to no peanut sauce. The spring rolls were tasty but over priced for how small they were. I was recommended this place by 4 people and I'm completely gutted in the poor quality of my meal. The meal was purchased this evening (11/10) from the dinner menu for delivery"

"Interesting menu. We really enjoyed the battered sweetbreads, venison and the Hare. Fabulously cooked, beautiful presentation of food. Staff did very well with pretty full house a function group too. Our choice of Deserts were lovely, Eton mess spiced apple mudcake."

"First experience eating here and the one staff member who was serving us was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, I really enjoyed my burger and the kumara fries were 10/10 delish! Why this can't be 5 stars is unfortunately due to the cleanliness of the place but specifically the bathrooms. I wanted to wash my hands before eating, but was met with very grimey bathrooms.. taps, sinks, mirrors, floors all looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a good while.. very uncomfortable. After turning the tap on with my elbow because I didn't want to touch it, the soap dispensers in both toilets were empty anyway! lol. Luckily they had hand sanitizer at the tables and the friendly staff member was very quick to refill them once we asked after our meals. I don't wanna be harsh as maybe they are just really understaffed which is understandable in these times, but definitely room for improvement with the cleaniness"
