"We have a place at Venus Bay and love a Sunday afternoon chilling out at the Cavity. Yesterday things went to a new level as we had the Snapper Cakes with a cold beer. They were off the charts and as always the service was great. Ignore the negative reviews... A small coastal town in a beautiful part of south gippsland you will be surprised by the taste, atmosphere and authentic vibe. It's not chapel street but it's does not pretend to be... It's the real Venus Bay deal."

"My mum and myself absolutely love our monthly visits to this pub, the service and attention to deal is beyond exceptional and the food is the best of the best in town! Tonight’s service from an extremely lovely gentleman (don’t have his name but had quite a stylish moustache) was absolutely superb! Going above and beyond in customer service and ensuring my food didn’t contain my allergens and that the food was absolutely to our liking.. Cannot wait to return next month!!
