"Had a lovely meal at Birchwood. Caesar salad and the calamari was delicious. Jerk chicken over sweet potato hash was amazing and had a lot of lovely fresh vegetables with it. Shrimp noodle bowl also very good. We love the fact they have a gluten free menu! Pretty good wine menu as well"

"It 's the last place open in town. Thank goodness Gerry 's Gelati stays open later than any other place in Radium Hot Springs. I rolled into town from the west on a Saturday night thinking I could get some food because it was before 10 p.m., but stupid me I didn 't realize the time zone had change somewhere back in the Kootenays. All the restaurants I wanted to try were closed, so I stomped down to the local liquor store to buy a bottle of beer to wash down my left over lunch sandwich with. Then I noticed a girl behind the counter at Gerry 's, at the ungodly (for this burg, at least) hour of 10:30 p.m. At least I could score some sweets with my beer. And the gelato was OK. The tiramisu scoop was a bit airy in texture, and not intensely flavoured. The cappucino scoop was had a POW! of coffee taste, though, with just a little bitter edge to it to bring out the espresso vibe on my tongue. It was one of the more intense tasting coffee ice creams I 've had, and I 've eaten plenty. Good onya for taste and timing, Gerry.<br/ <br/ P.S. If you 've got kids, Gerry 's also has an elaborate miniature golf course attached to it. Make 'em eat the ice cream after golfing, though, so the little buggers don 't get the club handles all sticky."

"Fun kitsch! Tasty options! My Susie Q was delish and my kiddos loved their quesadilla and beef taco choices. Our only unhappy person was my partner who cannot stand cilantro and we didn't think to ask when ordering our take-out. My partner also got an additional sauce...? That ruined his burrito instead of enhancing it. I'm a human garbage can at times and even I couldn't stand the taste... so stick with the as-is, off the menu, and you will not be disappointed! Really friendly folks and we would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area. We will be back!"

"I was last week in invermere tim horton and while I wait there to pay for my purchase, a woman comes in and circumvents the hire of people go to a counter where no one works even next to that I stand, and interrupts the person that serves me so that she can get 3 water and a juice. instead of the server that tells the person who has to connect them. she stops serving me and serves the rude woman who didn't want to wait in the line. I had left my transaction, was to type and pay. Instead I had to wait while the server went and got the 3 water and the juice. When I gave the woman a dirty look, she told me not to bring my pants into a knot that I get my food when she was done."

"After a long day of skating and a hike, this is the perfect place to relax and regroup. They have great food here with my favorite being the appetizer platter. The staff here is very polite, helpful. The atmosphere here is of a modern sports bar. It looks like it has been renovated recently and certainly made me feel comfortable. They have an array of entertainment here from pool tables to various games, to TVs on the wall to watch your favorite team play. When I come back to Invermere, I will be coming back here."
