Situation was road tripping and found Bernardino's on Yelp. Came in 8 minutes before closing and service happily seated us -they deserve 5 stars for that itself. Service was good throughout our dining experience. Food came out with not too much of a wait, hot and fresh. The free chips and salsa was fresh and delicious too. We went here on our way to Lake Tahoe as it's one of the few options for the area (and we needed to make a restroom stop). I was deceived by all the 5 star Yelp reviews and decided to dine here after reading the other reviews. The food was below average.
