What chantryxoxo doesn't like about The Belstead Arms:
i went in to use the toilet and a member of staff started shouting at me , she said i had to be accompanied by an adult but i explained to her how i just needed to piss and she started an argument and went on to ask if i could read and then kicked us out read more.

"We love the food from this restaurant but usually get a takeaway to enjoy at home. As it was our anniversary we decided to eat in. We knew when booking there would be a time limit on the table but we weren’t quite prepared for how rushed the experience would be. We literally sat down and were then asked what we wanted to order. It was very hurried. Luckily we usually stick with favourite items and knew roughly what we wanted. We ordered using dish names but were then made to quote numbers to the waitress which was a bit odd. Short story cut shorter: starters were served boom! mains were served boom! then out of the door. No complaints about the food (although meat content could have been a bit more generous) but it really wasn’t a relaxing restaurant experience. We felt like fast food customers on a conveyor belt. Sadly, the usually friendly waiter was also rather brusque. We’ll stick with the takeaway next time."
