"El Meson was recommended to us by a resident and it turned out to be a great find. It is in a convenient location on the boulevard and all of the staff could not have been nicer. We came back through Iquitos two weeks later and couldn't wait to take some friends there. The menu (in English) has a good variety of local dishes that gave us a chance to try something new everything was delicious. Prices were reasonable for what I expect when traveling and, again, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beer was cold and the sangria was worth a second pitcher. If you are in Iquitos and looking for a place to eat, this is where I would recommend. Go there, eat well, and enjoy yourselves."

"The menu is overwhelming, definitiw as the most popular place for vegan options in the environment, they are known for their ayahuasca menu. we have ordered a few items to try a little of everything. the Tacu-Tacu was disappointing and delicious fishy, causa was also disappointing and reminded me of a deviled egg flavor. we enjoyed the cold acai suppe and best vegan taco service was great however."

"I've just had an excellent experience at Ikiitu. We shared a couple of dishes to be shared between 5 people. Plus, as a personal challenge, I decided to try the Grilled Suri warms. 2 of us took the challenge and I personally loved them. My friend ate their head too, which he didn't like. However, we agreed on the fact that the body is soft and delicious, with a kind of peanut butter taste. Well ... No words worth the experience and I truly recommend anybody to give this special dish a try. Our waiter has been really friendly, the food good. It's a 5 star restaurant to me. Congrats."

"We ate here all three mornings we were in Iquitos. Perhaps the best French Toast ever, seriously. Countryman Platter well cooked, peasant-style toast accompaniment was perfect. Also enjoyed the cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. Pain au chocolate was also loved. Must visit for breakfast."
