"El Meson was recommended to us by a resident and it turned out to be a great find. It is in a convenient location on the boulevard and all of the staff could not have been nicer. We came back through Iquitos two weeks later and couldn't wait to take some friends there. The menu (in English) has a good variety of local dishes that gave us a chance to try something new everything was delicious. Prices were reasonable for what I expect when traveling and, again, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beer was cold and the sangria was worth a second pitcher. If you are in Iquitos and looking for a place to eat, this is where I would recommend. Go there, eat well, and enjoy yourselves."

"The food here is absolutely fantastic. It is easily five stars and the best restaurant in the area. Extensive menu with many options, the Soupa de Langostinos comes in a huge bowl filled with taste... I ordered it twice for two visits. I wish there was a restaurant like this in the USA. Extremely clean and modern furnishings. Chef Gabriel Garhy Nogueira Paz is a true artist!"

"We had a dinner at this place. It actually looks quite charming, and the waiters are super friendly. Nevertheless were our Calzones so boring and heavy (cheese, cheese, cheeese, no tomatoe sauce, meat and one basil leaf) that I rather would consider it as an Empanada. That had nothing to do with Pizza! Furthermore, the prices were super expensive for such a place (US$12 for one Pizza). On top, the chef forgot the Olives. We were very dissappointed."

"The menu is overwhelming, definitiw as the most popular place for vegan options in the environment, they are known for their ayahuasca menu. we have ordered a few items to try a little of everything. the Tacu-Tacu was disappointing and delicious fishy, causa was also disappointing and reminded me of a deviled egg flavor. we enjoyed the cold acai suppe and best vegan taco service was great however."
