I have enjoyed the pizza at Chez Maggy many times over the past two decades and it is always fresh from the oven, hot and delicious. Sitting upstairs overlooking the street and traffic below is a great experience of life in Iquitos. Their Hawaiian pizza is the best with ham, pineapple and mango, but they also have fantastic vegetarian and meat pizzas. Topped off with garlic bread and an Inca Kola or fresh fruit juice... It's the same situation, businessmen come to a place of poverty and set up a restaurant, one in which locals will neither visit nor eat. It is a tourist place with prices that you would expect in New York City. Avoid this greed pit. View all feedback.
