What Brownie dog doesn't like about Sawmill Saloon In Mounta:
The food was good, I had a burger, I wish the burger patty was a little bigger. Service was a bit on the slow side, and I didn't feel welcome to be there. The lighting was very dim, I had a hard time reading my menu. I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to get in, the first door I went in brought me into a liquor store, they may want to make this more clear. Annual vacation stop-over dinner. Everything is good, service is great. 1919 Root Beer (if you know, you know). Live music is a great bonus.
Paid $24 for a warm beer, iced tea with no ice (warm) and their supreme nachos which consisted of chips drowning in velvetta melted cheese. We had 3 different servers and after asking for our bill, all 3 of them disappeared. Resorted to paying our bill at the bar. Don’t waste your time or money!
Come here if you want your kids high chair to fall apart when they are eating and bust their face on the table. No worker asked if he was okay , just rolled the eyes , asked if we were trying to get something free and had absolute horrible customer service. No one wanted to get us drinks , the hostess had to get us our drinks then got a $20 gift certificate for their high chair completely falling apart. Maybe taking accountability for their liability would of been nice !! If anyone wants to take a chance at this place hit me up for that gift certificate.
All the food was terrible. Nachos had what I guess to be hormel chili on them, chips were stale. Walleye was raw in fish tacos, chicken on salad was raw and rubbery, my niece thought there was cheese in her corn dogs. You guessed it, raw. Steak sandwich was so tough, couldn’t eat it. None of us ate our food. Management made aware, said I’ll make things right. ,Only compensated for raw fish. Wont be back.
I ordered the chicken Alfredo it was the worst I've ever had!!! The sauce was like white water not a sauce at all ,no flavor either ..thank god I had parmesan cheese spices to fix it to save my$18 I ORDERED IT AGAIN TRYING TO GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE TO REDEEM ITSELF.. IT STILL FAILED MISERABLY!!! I WILL STICK TO THE SALADS THEY SEEM TO GET THAT RIGHT MOSTLY... Update rotten tomatoes
