"We were to this place two evenings in a row for supper. The first night we were what looked like the first for the evening meal. We were greeted warmly and were shown to our table. The waitress had a new trainee with her and was showing the trainee how it was to be done. We didn't mind that this process slowed down our progress as they all have to learn sometime. Drinks were ordered and delivered to us promptly. The main meal was ordered and appetizer of soup and salad came quickly. the soup was hot and tasty. The main meal was delivered in a timely fashion and again was hot and favorable. We felt that it was good value for the meals received. The second night it was a bit busier having the same waitress as the night before and the trainee was on her own, having her own area. Again the waitress was good and looked after us in a timely fashion. It was wings night and as such had wings as an appetizer with steak and sheppard pie which again was well cooked, hot and tasty. Again we felt that we had good value for the meal. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would go again if ever we are in the area."

"We were staying in Irricanna for the week so a group of us went here to eat. The owners are very friendly. My wife and I had the fish & chips, it came with 3 pieces of fish. The pieces were thin with a heavy batter, but they had over cooked the fish so it was greasy and hard. The other couple at our table said their food was just OK.Glad we tried the restaurant but wouldn't rush back."

"I just had to write a review after reading the first review. I couldn't believe that that person was talking about the same place for I find the food to be excellent, with a varied menu, and the service to be exceptional. This restaurant and bar is not your typical small town cafe and bar. It is new, in it's own building with ample parking. The restaurant and bar and the outdoor patio is well appointed and comfortable. The owner, Omar, who I met on my second visit, is always seeking his customers likes and dislikes and is eager to please. The bar, which is a sports bar, is a great place to go to have dinner, a few bubbly and watch the Stampeders or Flames play. The restaurant is well appointed and a great place to bring the entire family, young and old. Note however that even though they serve and offer a great breakfast menu, be fore warned that they don't open until 9:00 AM, Monday through Saturday and 10:00 AM on Sunday. Try it, I'm sure you'll like it! In fact you might give it five stars."

"We booked here because they were the only place close to work that took a last minute reservation for 12. Good customer service from the waitress even though there were a few mess ups. It's ok, it was lunch hour and she was the only waitress I saw so I imagine she was busy. I had the beef dip and it was good but best in Calgary? That's a tall order. It was very filling and came out reasonably quick."
