"This was in times past a little gem in Ayr a perfect place for that romantic night where you could have a beautiful night but sadly our latest experience told a very different story, A table of four sitting right next to us shouted, screamed and used very foul language all night. When they left several tables were glad to see the back of them. I mentioned to the manager that I was disappointed they didn't have a word asking them to keep it down. The manager said they didn't hear anything which I don't believe as they place really isn't that big. It ruined out night and we regret going which should not be how you should feel when going out. Its really disappointing and we would think twice about going back if this is the type of customers they want to attract"

"OMG ! The Cullen skink was amazing, best I've ever had. My husband had the Rabbie Burger and I had the Chicken and Haggis pie they were also delicious, we were stuffed as the portions were very generous. The waiting staff were very good and the atmosphere was traditional olde worlde cosy pub, ideal on a wet and windy night."
